COBALT NICKEL
Jane Kits have developed a very successful chemical mix to allow the home plater to plate their parts in cobalt nickel. The advantages of this plated finish is that it is harder and more corrosion resistant. It is also very much like chrome in appearance and will satisfy those who would like to do chrome plating in their own workshop. The procedure for cobalt nickel plating is the same as that for nickel plating. Owing to the high cost of Cobalt the price of these kits is slightly higher than that for nickel. If your project does not warrant the extra expense, the original high quality Jane Nickel is still available at the cheaper price. |
